About Us
Allen Parish Fire District 6 has stood as a pillar of safety for the Oakdale community since 1968. What began as a small volunteer effort has grown into a dedicated team of firefighters and support staff who respond to emergencies, conduct safety inspections, and educate residents every single day.
We serve a diverse area — from residential neighborhoods along Ward Road to the rural stretches of Allen Parish — and we take that responsibility seriously. Our station is more than a building; it's a commitment to showing up, no matter the hour.
